PR Profile: Hilary Peters 

What was the reason you joined PR? 

I started bringing Charlie (daughter) to PR as it was part of her training (Martin was her coach at the track). After standing watching everyone suffer for the 1st month and with the encouragement of others such as Paula, Shaun and Janice to get my trainers on, I took the plunge and I haven’t looked back since.  If I’m honest didn’t really think it would be my thing running with a group! 

How long have you been at PR? 

Since October 2015. Time flies.

What do you enjoy most about PR? 

For some strange reason I like having someone shouting /telling  me what to do!! I quite enjoy pain.

What is your best achievement since joining PR? 

Probably running 1hr 57 at last years Stafford half ( would like to think I can break that this year) and  the fact that I can push myself to run further than I had ever thought I would. Currently training for my 1st marathon( think I have gone completely mad)

What is your favourite session? I do love the hill sessions! I’m a little sadistic.

What is your favourite food? 

I love a good chilli! But since having Covid in the new year I still can’t taste. 😔

What is your favourite drink? Definitely Prosecco or a Rose’.

What is you favourite holiday destination? 

Anywhere hot 🥵! Algarve or South of France good memories with the family.

What would you sing at a Karaoke night? 

I wouldn’t torture anyone with my singing, I’ll leave that to people who aren’t tone deaf. 

What makes you laugh the most? 

My family, if you have ever watched Friday night dinner ( well that’s our house every night) you will understand it’s completely nuts!
