Reason for joining PR?
To hopefully increase my fitness and stamina.
How long have you been at PR?
Since April 2021, I’d been running a couple of times a week but nothing structured and I saw how much Jo Hollinshead & Sally Day have improved there fitness and how much they enjoyed it and thought I’d give it a go.
What do you enjoy most about PR?
The inclusive ethos of the club from beginners to marathon runners, everyone is made welcome, whatever level you’re at.
The encouragement and support from Martin and all the other coaches.
What is your best achievement since joining PR?
I come to the Wednesday sessions and do look forward to it . Although some weeks I do go home broken!
I can’t believe how my fitness level has improved and how good it is for your mental health too.
What is your Favourite session?
I love a mixed cardio session with sprints but definitely not uphill….
If you could only eat one meal what would it be?
Fillet Steak, Dauphinois potatoes, mushrooms & green vegetables and of course Dijon mustard.
What is your Favourite drink?
Gin and tonic ( lots of ice, slice of lemon, lime and pink grapefruit) and on a hot day in my garden or a nice glass of fizz or two.
What is your Favourite holiday destination?
Parrog in Newport South Wales or Abel Tasman, South Island NZ
What is your Favourite song or artist?
A difficult one for those that know my love of music. I did a 14 hour playlist for my 60th! Probably Paloma Faith singing Make Your Own Kind of Music.

What famous person past or present would you like to meet and why?
No one really famous but it would be wonderful to see my mom again to tell her how well her family are doing and how much we miss and love her.
