PR Profile: Niamh Gardner 

What was your reason for joining PR? 

I joined PR to get out of the house and try to get a bit fitter – also for the social aspect. 

How long have you been at PR?

 I think since March 2021 or at least around that time or towards Easter. 

What do you enjoy most about PR? 

The thing I enjoy most about PR is that i get out of the house for a bit and the sessions are all quite different. 

What is your best achievement since joining PR? 

My best achievement is that I am able to run a mile under 11 minutes. 

What is your favourite session? My favourite sessions are those where we go outside by the canal. 

If you could only eat one meal what would it be? 

The meal I would choose to eat would be grilled salmon with Herby potatoes and grilled vegetables. 

What is your favourite drink? 

I like a mimosa or two.

What is your favourite holiday destination? 

I think my favourite holiday destination would have to be Gran Canaria. 

What is your favourite group or song? 

My favourite music group is Abba – Angeleyes being my favourite song. 

Which famous person would you like to meet and why? 

If I could meet any famous person in the world, I suppose it would have to be James Earl Jones.
