PR Profile: Russell Breeze
Why did you decide to join PR?
I joined PR because I wanted to improve my weight loss and fitness journey. I had been going to weight watchers for about a year and had already lost about 4 stone and I was feeling like I had loads of energy. I had already been running a little bit with Paula and Shaun, as we met them at weight watchers.
How long have you been going to PR?
I have been at PR since day 1. I was the only man there for quite a few weeks (except for Coach) I did have a period where I didn’t come for a while, but have always considered myself a PR member.
What do you like most about PR? PR brings the best out of people. It is fun and rewarding and everybody is encouraging. I think the encouragement and support is what I enjoy the most.
What is your best achievement since joining?
My best achievement (tough to pick as PR helped me achieve many things) is probably my first marathon at Stratford. I followed Martins plan religiously and finished in 3.38.
What is your Favourite session? Probably Indian file or relays.
If you could only eat one meal what would it be?
It would have to be steak and chips. Mmmmmmm.
What is your favourite drink?Same as Richie Callaghans – Red Stripe!
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Australia, Cornwall, Lake District or Burnham-on-sea. Tough to choose.
What is your favourite song or artist?
I am not sure if I have a favourite song or artist, but I mainly like dance / electronic music. Although I must admit, I do love Dua Lipa, she is ace.
What famous person would you like to meet and why?
If I could meet a famous person it would probably have to be David Attenborough. He is an incredibly lucky man and he knows a thing or two about nature.
