Penkridge 10K – Our Race, Our Community

Sunday 28th June 2026

Not just another event on the calendar
Not just another 10K

But the Penkridge 10K

On Sunday 28th June, we won’t just be putting on a race — we’ll be sharing something we’ve built together.

From training days to the Start Line

Think about your journey here.

The steady runs where conversation flows easier than the miles.
The interval sessions where we push a little harder because someone is beside us.
The long runs where we solve the world’s problems by mile six.

Every one of those moments leads to this.

Some of you are chasing a personal best.
Some are stepping up to your first 10K.
Some are returning after injury or time away.

Wherever you are in your journey — this race is for you.

Yes, It’s Family Friendly…

We love seeing partners, kids, parents and friends lining the route.
We love hearing the cheers that say, “That’s my mum!” or “Go on, Dad!”
We love that finish-line hug.

Running is what brings us together — but community is what keeps us here.

Sunday 28th June will be full of that energy:
  • Smiling marshals
  • Cowbells and cheers
  • Clubmates shouting your name
  • That buzz at the start that makes your heart race before your legs do

…But It’s Also Seriously Fast

Let’s not pretend otherwise.

This course is built for rhythm. Built for confidence. Built for courage.

If you’ve been putting in the work, this is your moment.

Trust your training.
Trust your pacing.
Trust yourself.

And when it starts to hurt a little (because a good 10K always does), remember — that’s where breakthroughs happen.

That’s where PBs are born.

What I Love Most About This Club

It’s not just the quick runners — though we have plenty.

It’s the way:
  • Someone always loops back to run the last stretch with you
  • No one finishes alone
  • Effort is celebrated more than pace
  • Every improvement, however small, matters

On Sunday 28th June, that spirit will be everywhere.

You’ll feel it on the start line.
You’ll hear it at halfway.
You’ll need it at 8K.
And you’ll carry it down the final stretch.

Whatever Your Goal — It Counts

Sub-40?
Sub-50?
First ever 10K finish?
Strong comeback?

They all matter.

Because at Penkridge Runners, we don’t measure success by one clock at the finish line.
We measure it in courage, commitment, and showing up.

And if you’ve trained for this — you’ve already achieved something big.

PENKRIDGE 10k

Sunday 28th June isn’t just about running fast.

It’s about running together.
It’s about representing your club.
It’s about proving to yourself what you’re capable of.

Fast enough for your PB.
Friendly enough for your family.
Supportive enough for everyone.

Let’s make it a day we’re proud of. 🖤💛
