Women embracing, greeting each other

#Runandtalk

Jogging and running can help us lift our mood, increase our self-esteem, sleep better, think clearer and reduce stress, anxiety and depression. We know that getting started, and keeping going, can be challenging at times so England Athletics have worked with Mind to recruit a network of Mental Health Champions for you to #RunAndTalk with.

What is a Mental Health Champion?

A discreet and empathetic volunteer with firsthand experience in navigating mental health challenges, either personally or through supporting friends and family. This individual will offer guidance and encouragement to help you embark on, return to, or persist with running in a club or group setting. We warmly welcome those who are new to running. Your journey towards wellness and community starts here.

For more information, please visit the England Athletics website.
